A portable garage is a structure which typically consists of a structural metal framework (generally round or steel tubing) and a fabric cover. A Simple Checklist for Buying a Portable Garage
Having established the fact that your car is important (and so is a portable garage), here are some things to put on your checklist before you go out and buy one:
#Portability. The point of buying a portable garage is to have a sure protection wherever your car is, and whenever it needs protection. That being said, portability is the major issue here. While these garages offer portability, it would be to your advantage to look for the most portable of them all. You can decide on this by looking for the lightest weight portable garages.

They should be easy to assemble and disassemble, too, for obvious reasons. You should look for material that is generally light weight. Keep in mind that even when your new garage is portable, you are not going to dismantle it every day. That would be difficult and pointless. In relation to that, you can compromise light weight and durability, which will be discussed later on.
#Cover. The type of material used for the covering should be taken into consideration. The material should be durable, to say the least. It should withstand extreme weather. And by extreme weather, it doesn’t just mean to find a cover that is water-resistant. It has to be sturdy enough to hold snow build up.
The structure of the portable garage should be able to prevent snow accumulation. In places where there are frequent hailstorms, find a highly durable cover that doesn’t rip easily when struck by pointy objects.
#The durability of the frame. The frame that makes up the structure of the portable garage is often made of galvanized iron. Sometimes, it’s reinforced with other types of metal. Remember, the harder the metal, the heavier it will be. The harder the metal, the more durable it will be. And therein lies the problem.
You want a portable garage that is lightweight, for portability purposes, but one that is also durable, for withstanding extreme weather.
